Tara Zahra wins the 2011 Laura Shannon Prize

Kidnapped Souls: National Indifference and the Battle for Children in the Bohemian Lands, 1900–1948 by Tara Zahra is the winner of the 2011 Laura Shannon Prize in Contemporary European Studies (History and Social Sciences) given by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame. The Shannon Prize carries a cash award of $10,000. You can read about the prize here.
